ATLANTA -- RV industry wholesale distributor Stag-Parkway, Inc. today announced it had made several promotions and additions to its management team.
Craig Mellor, a 23-year employee of Stag-Parkway, has been promoted to senior vice president of sales. Mellor’s tenure at Stag includes roles in operations, purchasing and sales. Most recently, he served as the western region’s vice president of sales where he led territory sales development from the Mississippi west. Craig serves on the board of directors for the Texas Recreational Vehicle Association and had his 30 years of service to the industry recognized in 2007 when he was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
“His experience and enthusiasm will help drive the sales and customer service initiatives that are essential to our continued success,” comments Stan Sunshine, president/CEO of StagParkway.
John Spaulding has been appointed senior vice president of merchandising where he will be responsible for purchasing and marketing. Spaulding spent the last 11 years in the RV Industry working in the manufacturing sector with Kwikee Products, as publisher of RV Trade Digest and as director of marketing and vice president of product management at Stag-Parkway. He served on the board of directors for the Light Truck Aftermarket Accessories Association and has been an educational presenter at the National RV Dealers Convention on topics of marketing. He also served the RVIA Education Foundation as a contributor to their electrical products training standards, and he has worked with the RV Aftermarket Association's standards task force to help develop graphics and new product data requirements.
“John’s broad background will help Stag-Parkway continue to grow through innovative ideas in marketing,” said Martin Street, chief operating officer for StagParkway.
Ken Russell joins StagParkway as chief information officer. “This is a new position within the company to help us expand and develop innovative and exciting ways to grow the RV market and supply product and information quicker and more accurately to our industry partners,” said Street. "Ken has more than 20 years experience in the information technology field leading large and small companies through system integration and process improvement projects to provide better, more focused service to their customers.
