NEW YORK -- Toray Ultrasuede America (TUA), makers of Ultrasuede, the original luxury suede fabric, introduces a diverse collection of products at the upcoming National RV Show Dec. 2 to 4 in Louisville, Ky.
The product will be on display in booths C35B and C36A in Hall 1 of the South Wing.
The centerpiece of the new collections will be Torale Luxe – the luxury leather alternative which emulates characteristics of the finest leathers. Featuring 47 solids and eight on-trend metallics, the bold look and the smooth touch of leather are available in this stylish sophisticated alternative. Consumers demand materials that are more durable, yet also more in tune with today’s green-minded attitudes. Now, they no longer have to sacrifice the precision, comfort, and flexibility they’ve grown accustomed to with leather. Technology has given the RV industry the material that satisfies all these needs and more, the company noted in a press release.
Other first-time products include two exclusive embossing lines; the Dimensions Collection and the Ultrasuede Embossed Custom Collection. Dimensions offers a highly focused, well-thought-out collection of embossed patterns meant to complement the Ultrasuede solid collections. Available in two weights and three subtle textures, Dimensions is suitable for upholstery applications as well as for wallcovering, paneling, trim and headliners for the interiors of RVs, marine and aircraft. The three patterns include a classic Basket Weave, a richly grained Ostrich, and a modern, indented starry scatter called Galaxy. Mixed and matched with the solid color collection, they bring a visual and tactile dimension to the luxurious Ultrasuede surface.
The Ultrasuede Embossed Custom Collection offers the “mix-and-match” potential that allows the diverse collection to be embossed in any color or weight currently available in Ultrasuede. The collection features subtle embossing suggesting patterns found in nature that include raindrops, tree bark, and snakeskin. Playful graphics include a checkerboard, a basketweave, vintage crackle-glaze tile, perky diamond ring and even elegant terrazzo mosaic.
