FOREST CITY, Iowa – Winnebago Industries, Inc. announced the appointment of Robert Amonitti to the position of district sales manager.
In his new position, Amonitti is responsible for sales of the Company’s Winnebago, Itasca and ERA brand motor homes, as well as dealer development and training for dealers in Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Virginia and Northern North Carolina. This territory has previously been held by Tom Haney who is retiring after 30 years with Winnebago Industries.
Amonitti has eight years experience in the RV industry, most recently serving as district sales manger of Fleetwood American Coach.
Amonitti holds a bachelor of science degree in business management from Drexel University in Philadelphia. Amonitti, his wife and three children, will be relocating back to his native Philadelphia area from the Tampa, Fla., area.
